Our Founding Story
OUR MISSION & VISION
Nice To Meet You
With over a decade of experience in community advocacy, justice reform, education, and nonprofit leadership, I bring both insight and strategy to every funding opportunity.
As the founder of Insight Grants and Research, I support mission-driven organizations in securing the resources they need to grow, serve, and thrive. My journey blends a strong academic foundation with real-world impact: I hold a Master of Science in Business Management (MBA-equivalent) and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Justice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I focused on systems change and equitable access.
Professionally, I currently serve as Assistant Program Director at the American Assistance Center, where I lead programs that support immigrants through direct services, partnerships, and culturally responsive case management. My leadership experience also spans international education and entrepreneurship: I founded The Mission Hill Schools in Uganda, a nonprofit education initiative focused on equity and opportunity, and Native Kanvas, a U.S.-based platform for multicultural branding, content creation, and wellness.
Throughout my career—from the U.S. Attorney’s Office to the Department of Corrections—I’ve been committed to uplifting underserved communities through research, education, and systemic support. At Insight Grants and Research, I combine that passion with strategy, offering grant writing, funding research, and program development services tailored to nonprofits, faith-based groups, and social impact initiatives.
Let’s turn your vision into a funded reality—where insight meets opportunity.

Our methods
Discovery & Alignment
“Understanding your vision is the first step to funding it.”
We begin every partnership with a discovery session to understand your mission, programs, and goals. We assess your funding readiness, review your past grant activity (if any), and align our approach to your organizational voice and capacity. This stage ensures we identify opportunities that truly fit—and craft proposals that speak with authenticity and precision.
Tailored Grant Research
“We don’t chase every grant—we find the right ones.”
Using a mix of proprietary databases, foundation directories, and industry insight, we identify grants that match your mission, eligibility, and timeline. Our research process saves you time and energy by focusing on funders most likely to support your work, whether from private foundations, government agencies, or corporate programs.
Strategic Grant Writing
“We build compelling cases rooted in data and heart.”
We write powerful, persuasive proposals that clearly articulate your program, impact, and funding needs. Our writing blends storytelling with strategy—grounding your narrative in data, community outcomes, and funder priorities. Whether it’s a federal application or a short letter of inquiry, we ensure your proposal stands out..
Ongoing Support & Collaboration
“Partnership doesn’t end at submission.”
We stay with you beyond the application—tracking deadlines, helping with follow-ups, crafting grant reports, and planning for future submissions. Many of our clients choose long-term partnerships to keep momentum going and build sustainable funding streams. We’re not just grant writers—we’re strategic allies in your growth.
